Your CRM knows who buys. Your ad platforms are still guessing.

Google, Meta and TikTok bid on what they can see on your website. The answer to who actually buys sits in your CRM. Here is how to put it to work in your bidding.

Every week, your sales team finds out which leads were worth chasing: who booked a viewing, who got approved, who signed, and who was a job seeker filling in the wrong form. Your ad platforms never hear any of it.
The platforms bid on what they can see
Google, Meta and TikTok are very good at finding more of whatever you tell them counts. For most lead generation businesses, that is a form submit.
To the bidding model, an enquiry from a serious buyer and an enquiry from someone who will never buy look exactly the same. Both count as one conversion. So the platform does the sensible thing with the signal it has, and finds more form fills as cheaply as it can.
Cheap form fills are easy to find. Customers are not. That is how a campaign can hit its cost-per-lead target every month while the sales team complains about lead quality.
Your CRM already has the answer
Within days of a lead arriving, your CRM knows more about it than any ad platform ever will. It knows whether the lead qualified, what the deal is worth, whether it closed and why it was lost.
That makes it the most useful data you own about your marketing, and it sits in a system your bidding never touches. Marketing reports cost per lead, sales reports revenue, and nobody can say which campaigns produce customers.
Sending closed deals back helps, but it comes late
The platforms know this. It is why they offer ways to send outcomes back: offline conversion imports in Google, the Conversions API in Meta and the Events API in TikTok.
Using them is a good step. The catch is timing and volume. High-consideration sales close over months, while bidding learns in weeks. Only a small share of leads ever close, so the platform hears about a few outcomes, long after it spent the budget that produced them.
Send a prediction for every lead
The bigger change is to stop waiting for the outcome. Score every new lead the moment it arrives, based on what your own CRM history says about leads like it.
That score is a prediction of what the lead is likely to be worth. Sent to the platforms as the conversion value, it lets value-based bidding work on every lead from day one, instead of only the few that closed months ago.
Milestones along the way count too. A viewing booked or an application approved can reach the platform while it can still act on it.
A prediction is only as good as the data under it
This is the part most teams miss. If bots and click farms are part of your traffic, your model learns from them too. If job seekers, duplicates and spam sit in your pipeline as leads, the platform gets rewarded for finding more of them.
So the signal has to be cleaned before it is used. Invalid clicks should be stopped before they turn into leads, and leads your team disqualifies should go back to the platform as exactly that.
How Tapper Vantage does it
Tapper Vantage connects your CRM to your bidding in four steps:
- Connect your CRM, read-only. Your CRM admin grants read access to a short, named list of fields. No writes, no new fields and no change to how your sales team works.
- Tie every deal to its ad click. Your lead capture stores the ad click ID, so each deal links back to the click that produced it.
- Score every new lead. Each lead gets a value score for how likely it is to become revenue and what it is likely to be worth.
- Send it to the platforms. Value scores go to Google, Meta and TikTok as optimization signals. Disqualified leads and cancelled deals go back to Google as corrections, so it stops being rewarded for the wrong leads.
Tapper Block screens every ad click and blocks bots, click farms and repeat offenders in real time, so fewer invalid clicks turn into leads in the first place.
What changes
- Campaigns bid harder for the leads that become customers, and less for the ones that never will.
- Reported return reflects revenue that actually happened, because cancellations are corrected after the fact.
- Every deal your sales team closes teaches your campaigns who to look for next.
