Invalid traffic is only half of how ad money goes missing. Tapper Lift runs deterministic daily checks on your connected Google Ads accounts, prices each finding per day, and ranks everything in one review queue: waste, upside and recommendations, never blurred into one number.

Tapper started with one job: stop invalid traffic from spending your budget and polluting the data your campaigns learn from. But invalid traffic is only half of how ad money goes missing. The other half is valid spend going to the wrong places: keywords that never convert, search terms that should have been negatives, targets set away from what the account actually delivers, budgets pacing off plan.
That half now has its own product. Tapper Lift runs deterministic checks on your connected Google Ads accounts every day, prices what each finding is worth per day, and ranks the results in one review queue inside your dashboard.
It started as one panel in a report
Lift began as a section in our monthly client reports: a single figure for potential daily savings and a count of opportunities identified. Every client meeting then produced the same two questions. Which ones? And what exactly do we change?
Answering those questions in slide decks did not scale, so we built the answer into the product. The Opportunities tab shows every open finding, ranked by estimated impact per day, each one with the evidence behind it, a timeline of when it was detected and last seen, and an audit trail of what was done about it.
What Lift looks for
Every check is deterministic: the same account state produces the same finding, priced from your own spend data. The current set covers:
- Keywords spending without converting, priced at what they burn per day.
- Search terms that should be negatives: broad matches taking budget with no intent behind them.
- Targets set away from reality: a target CPA of $95 on a campaign already delivering $61 is asking the bidding algorithm for the wrong thing.
- Campaigns converting far below the account average, and campaigns spending with no conversions at all.
- Ads losing to their siblings on the same spend within an ad group.
- Budget pacing drifting away from the monthly plan.
- Account settings worth a decision: Search on Display, Search Partners, AI Max. Lift flags them so someone confirms they are intentional.
Money that means what it says
Optimisation tools love one big savings number. Lift deliberately refuses to produce one. Every finding carries one of three money labels, and they are never added together:
Waste is money being lost right now, like a zero-conversion keyword still spending. Upside is money a change would unlock. Recommendation carries no money claim at all, only the spend the recommendation affects, because a target nudge or a settings review is not a savings figure and pretending otherwise inflates the total.
Each estimate is the estimate at detection, and the product says so. When you action an item, it moves to a ledger that tracks what remains open, what was actioned, and what closed, including the reason it closed. An item you actioned that is still being detected stays visible instead of being counted as done. If the fix did not work, the queue says so.
Recommend-only, by design
Lift never changes your Google Ads account. Every finding is a specific, reversible change to an existing campaign, described precisely enough to apply in minutes: pause this keyword, add this negative, move this target. You apply it in Google Ads, mark it actioned in Tapper, and the ledger keeps the record. Your account, your hands, our evidence.
Where it fits
Block and Lift are two ends of the same discipline. Block removes the traffic that should never have cost you money. Lift examines how the budget that remains is actually spent. Together they answer the question every performance review circles around: where is this account leaking, and what specifically do we change today?
Lift is live now for Google Ads accounts connected to Tapper, in the Opportunities tab of your dashboard, and its findings also appear in your monthly report. If you want to see what it finds on your account, connect Google Ads or book a walkthrough with the team.
